First formed in May 2003, ACE was prompted by Singapore’s Economic Review Committee as a means of sustaining its competitiveness in the global economy. To accomplish this, ACE focused on building an entrepreneurial culture, facilitating networking and learning as well as creating a strongly pro-enterprise environment.

In 2012 ACE was re-focused on supporting aspiring Singaporean Entrepreneurs in taking their first steps towards starting up, nurturing their success through mentorship and building of networks. We have also added entrepreneurship education and technology transfer as two important project areas for 2012.
