About ACE

The Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), is a national movement by the private and public sector to seed and nurture start-ups in Singapore. We help aspiring entrepreneurs start up by building a vibrant community and connecting them to resources, people and knowledge.

 

ACE’s Five Sub-Committees
ACE is supported by five sub-committees, each tasked with strategising, driving and implementing initiatives for the local start-up community. Together, the sub-committees hope to help entrepreneurial Singaporeans take their first step in starting up.

Mentoring
Led by Steven Fang, Founder and Non-Executive Director of Cordlife Ltd.

The Mentoring Sub-Committee aims to help ACE-funded start-ups grow sustainably by providing one-on-one mentorship through their first year of operations.

ACE Start-ups
Led by Mr Sim Choon Siong, Director (Entrepreneurship) of SPRING Singapore

The ACE Start-ups Sub-Committee is responsible for overseeing the implementation and evaluation of the ACE Start-ups grant applications.

Networking
Led by Mr Clinton Ang, Managing Director of Hock Tong Bee Pte Ltd

The Networking Sub-Committee aims to provide platforms for start-ups to network with entrepreneurs, potential investors, mentors and other relevant contacts.

Overseas Chapter
Led by Mr James Tan, Co-founder of 55 Tuan

The Overseas Chapter Sub-Committee will help start-ups gain access and connect to selected overseas markets by establishing connections and platforms there.

Communications
Led by Mr Prakash Somosundram, Director of Yolk Pte Ltd

The Communications Sub-Committee is tasked with publicising and raising awareness of entrepreneurship in Singapore.
